This season we are trying something new for our Sunday films. As well as your favourite classics we have the Sunday Blockbuster and a talk from Aardman to accompany the film. All films are suitable for younger viewers. Doors open 3.45 pm for a 4 pm start – and we have kept the tea and cakes! The December 15th showing starts at 3.15 with a pre show talk with doors open from 3.00.
October 13th Life of Pi (cert PG) - Ang Lee has extracted something beautiful , wise and at times miraculous from Martel’s tricky novel. November 17th The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (cert U) – remixed version of the classic 1943 film and a wonderful salute to British decency and a touching portrait of a friendship that bridges national boundaries. December 15th The Pirates in An Adventure with Scientists - our Family special this year is our friends Aardman's latest classic. And with a chance to hear about how the film was made and meet some of the models in a pre-show talk hosted by Tom Barnes. April 6th - Singing in the Rain - get those vocal chords in tune to sing along to one of our favourite musicals with the wonderful Gene Kelly
